Internship in Global Business Services - BI/DW

- Fluent in English

- Strong knowledge about relational database concepts (working with at least one major RDBMS product: Oracle , IBM DB2, MS SQL Server);

- Experience with Cognos, Business Objects or any other BI Reporting Tool

- Experience with ETL Tools (Informatica, DataStage), Data Warehousing and shell scripting

- Knowledge about Data Architecture and Modeling

- Understanding the business terms and processes

This position involves working within a team dealing with many aspects of the analysis, development and maintenance of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing for IBM customers.

This job covers different areas from business analyze, model design, development of back-end (create Informatica Mappings, ETL processes) and front-end (Create Reports, Cubes, Dashboards, Universe Architectures), to testing, writing related documentation (Design Spec, Unit Test, Business Requirements) and creating the metadata.

The candidate must be able to identify proactively, together with the team, any shortcomings in performance and propose solutions for their correction. Therefore, communication/interpersonal skills within the team, basic business knowledge and strong analytical thinking are preferred.
