Firmware/Software Working Student

Basic Job Requirements:

• Capable of using MFC libraries & .NET platform
• Debugging with Simulators, In-Chip systems and on Emulators
• Creating test-suites & scenarios for firmware/ software
• Documenting the module’s design, implementation & tests
• Operating with laboratory equipments for testing & debugging (e.g. Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer, Protocol Analyzers…)
• Good Technical English language

• Good verbal written communication skills
• Fluent in English
• The ability to enforce and constantly strive to achieve the highest quality results
• Team spirit and willingness to cooperate closely with international and cross-functional integrated circuit development teams
• Analytical thinking and problems solving skill
• Proactive and autonomous working style as well as flexibility for business trips

Additional knowledge & skills:

• Automotive-programming standards for FW (especially for C)
• Organizing/ storing code & documents with Version Management systems
• Using Bug-tracking tools/ methods
• Experience with Microcontrollers (particularly with 8051 family)
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, RS232, LIN/CAN, SPI, I2C, USB)
• Basic knowledge of Digital Circuits
