     ·            Good understanding of networking standards such as Ethernet and IPv4/v6 concepts

·        Understanding of Layer3-7 implementation structures, layer interfaces, frame formats etc.

·        Ability to install, configure & debug networking devices

·        Enthusiasm for learning new technologies

·        Ability to understand business and functional requirements

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).

·        Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel.

·        Perform research and write small-to-medium test strategy documents using company’s templates and following feature specification and design document.

·        Design and execute small features test cases to cover functionality, scalability and performance for the specific feature assigned.

·        Perform unit, system integration and regression testing according to the tasks defined by the project planning

·        Perform root cause isolation, troubleshooting, edit bug report, bug fix verification

·        Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge with different devices running TDM and VOIP protocols (Cisco softswitches/gateways/CallManager,

·        Knowledge of VoIP protocols: SIP, SCCP (Skinny), H.323, MGCP, ISDN, SS7, T30/T38, as well as TDM and analog telephony service.

·        Understanding of QA methodologies and product lifecycle

Design, develop and execute test plans to cover functionality and performance of various networking standards (Layers 2-7) on Ixia systems. Track test progress, report results, forecast risk areas. Work closely with developers and Senior QA engineers in developing new products and innovative test scenarios. Set up automation test environment to improve efficiency.
