Location: Romania, Remote

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. Once we can safely travel, you may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

GoDaddy Internships are over a three-month period, where you get to collaborate with a unique background of engineering, product, and operations team members. You will get to learn the technologies we use to deliver the best services for our customers - designing and implementing solutions, presenting demos and obtaining feedback then wrapping up by documenting lessons learned.

A Day In the Life of a GoDaddy Intern will look like:

• Attending the team stand up (sharing the progress that each day brings)
• Working on assigned projects and documenting progress
• Speaking up and asking for help when needed and clarifying any actions

  • RESTful APIs
  • Python Flask / Django, PHP Slim / Symphony
  • Java, Go, Lua
  • Docker, Git, Jira
  • AWS – CloudFormation, Sceptre, Beanstalk, ECS, EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Elasticsearch, Kibana

Your experience should include...

• Problem solving skills, knowledge of data structures, basic networking
• Basic knowledge in a programming language in Go, Python, PHP, Java and etc.
• Ability to work in team with other engineers
• Knowledge and a passion for coding standards and following proven design patterns.
• Good foundation in data structures and algorithms
