KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will contribute to teams focused on developing IPs/components used in AMD's next generations integrated circuits.
  • You will benefit of professional guidance from an experienced engineering team, alongside the ability to grow both personally and professionally.
  • You will have the possibility to understand the full flow of integrated circuits design and to work with latest EDA tools using latest submicron technologies.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with digital circuits - both combinational & digital - and the ability to synthesize small circuitry as adders, counters
  • Familiarity with programming principles - experience with C/C++ is preferred.
  • Exposure to how a microprocessor/microcontroller works and how such devices can be interfaced with various peripherals like memory, sensors...
  • Exposure to Verilog HDL
  • Exposure to scripting languages like Tcl, Perl, Python is a plus.
  • Exposure to basic Linux commands - awk, sed, vim & regular expression is a plus.
  • Exposure to EDA tools, like the ones from Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Xilinx
  • Fluent in English

Who We're Looking For:

Students working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related subject, with:

  • Good understanding of the faculty courses that are relevant for software development and digital design and verification;
  • Passion for modern, complex processor architectures and digital design;
  • Excellent communication skills (including English);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willing to learn and ready to take on problems;
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, multicultural, team environment.
