The team and the project
This position is in our virtual team, researching and developing security solutions for our enterprise clients. We are based in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, but we are working fully remote with our colleagues in other offices.
In the enterprise area, infrastructure attacks and breaches require dedicated solutions which actively monitor each asset, each action taken in the infrastructure, and provide ways of identifying potentially malicious activity. Our team is building the GravityZone console, which is the central node in our security solution, orchestrating the security across the entire organization.
We are tackling this endeavor with a highly scalable platform, with complex data flows and capable of handling big data, based on open-source technologies.
Required skills:
linux, networking, scripting oop.
As a GravityZone QA Engineer your tasks will include:
- Design, implement and execute automated or manual test suites;
- Submit, regress and verify defects;
- Contribute to automation framework improvements;
- Performing tests against builds and test procedures;
- Reviewing and commenting on product specifications and designs .
Requirements:
- Experience in scripting or programming (object-oriented programming experience - nice to have Java or JavaScript);
- Linux (Ubuntu) operating system installation/configuration/administration experience;
- Networking knowledge;
- Good analytical skills / problem solver.
