The position
Join our team if you want to develop Digital Banking features and contribute to the acceleration of the digitalization of this industry. Banking has to catch up with other digitalized industries and we need dedicated developers to be part of the future of banking journey. Your role will include data modelling and design, proficient use of SQL and PL/SQL, writing code according to the blueprint and later designing blueprints, and integration with other systems. We expect you to contribute and collaborate with other engineers on technical and architectural decisions.

The ideal candidate
- Top university student or graduate with a degree in Economic Informatics or Computer Science
- 1 - 3 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development is a plus
- Appreciates clean code and best practices in software engineering
- Keen on implementing solutions using detailed technical specifications
- Has a passion for learning and an interest in high-end software architecture
- Possesses exceptional communication skills, enjoys sharing knowledge and collaborating with others
- Has upper-intermediate competency in English (B2 level) and advanced skills in Romanian (C1 level)
- Lives within an hour and a half of Getik’s headquarters

The recruitment process Applications will be subject to a first screening. The suitable candidates will be invited to complete a questionnaire that evaluates their general knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Candidates who pass the questionnaire will be asked to participate in a coding challenge to test their endurance and developer skills during an extensive assessment.
